【摘要】牙髓炎是口腔科临床上常见病、多发病，牙髓炎分为急性和慢性两类。急性牙髓炎的特点是发病急、疼痛剧烈，由炎症引起的急性症状可持续较长时间，给患者造成巨大痛苦。因此，研究急性牙髓炎的临床特征，分析引起该病的原因，这对于合理选择治疗方法及判断预后，从而提高患牙的治疗效果，具有十分重要的理论和现实意义。
